About Me
Hello, I’m Joyce! I'm an early childhood educator, storyteller and illustrator based in Singapore.I create stories, programmes and playful learning experiences that encourage children to imagine, participate and explore. My work combines early childhood knowledge with whimsical illustrations, interactive storytelling and just that little bit of curiosity.
How I Got Here
I studied marine biology, which meant spending a lot of time making friends with marine animals and uncovering the stories of Mother Nature.That curiosity eventually led me to early childhood, where I used science communication to turn animal facts and complex conservation ideas into playful programmes and experiences for young children. Some of my career highlights include working at the Singapore Oceanarium (previously S.E.A. Aquarium) and Mandai Zoo.Fast forward to the present, I bring these two worlds together through playful stories, illustrations and learning experiences inspired by animals, nature and a healthy dose of imagination.
